Tis the season for apples!
Nothing feels more like fall than an abundance of apples for homemade apple cider, apple pies, applesauce, and so much more. If you’re looking to go apple picking this season, here are some great locations to check out:
Westmoreland Berry Farm and Orchard
Open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and then 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday, this farm is perfect for anyone looking for pumpkins and apples this fall.
Graves Mountain Farm
One of the more popular locations, this pick-your-own farm is open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. They’re hosting their annual Apple Harvest festival the first three weekends in October, so you can celebrate with live music, hayrides, arts & crafts, a moon bounce, and so much more.
Carter Mountain Orchard
With a wide range of apples, this orchard is open daily from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. until Thanksgiving. It’s also not too far from the Bold Rock Cellar and Prince Michel Wineshop, so you can enjoy a fun-filled down in the mountains.
