At Stevenson Ridge, we’ve been waiting for that tall, dark stallion to walk the grounds. No, I don’t mean a man but a horse!
Since we’ve been open, we’ve had multiple brides ask about bringing their horse onsite, but when it came to the wedding day, a horse wasn’t on the invite list. Finally, one of our May brides, Ashley, was able to bring her horse to Stevenson Ridge and take some amazing pictures with her. However, it rained all day on her wedding day, so she came back a couple weeks ago with her horse for a photographic do-over!
While they were prepping the horse for photos, I was able to chat with Ashley’s sister and learn about Castle. He is six years old and has been a part of Ashley’s family for a while now. Horses can live to be up to 30 years old, so we joked that that is definitely a commitment.
We can’t wait to get more pictures from the photographer, as it definitely made for a fun afternoon for everyone.
