This is probably more appropriate for Halloween than Christmas, but I suppose the zombie apocalypse is a scenario for all seasons, so I thought I’d share. I occasionally teach a class called “Pop Culture: Tales from the Zombie Apocalypse.” The class fills up fast, and we have a good time looking at all the ways zombies fascinate us as a culture (and, believe it or not, we actually do a lot of learning: everything from sociology, psychology, biology, economics, media studies, and even some survival skills).
I’m always collecting zombie-related stuff. One of the things I recently rediscovered in my files was this fun set of engagement photos: fiancé and fiancée vs. zombie.
