Disney Princesses’ Inspiration Boards

from Elizabeth (photos courtesy Brides magazine)

Every young girl falls in love with a Disney Princess and dreams about her own “happily ever after.” Now that you’ve found your Prince Charming, have you ever wondered what these Princesses’ wedding planning would be like? What Cinderella’s or Jasmine’s Pinterest board would be filled with?

Brides magazine took a wild guess at these favorite fairy tale beauties, and this is what they came up with:

Once upon a time…

Cinderella

A classic bride like Cinderella would be looking for a more lavish wedding inspiration fit for the princess she is. Her board would be filled with glass slipper-inspired bridal shoes, gilded pumpkin décor, and royalty-worthy pale-blue ballgown. And of course, a castle is a perfect location for venue as a real-life horse-drawn carriage whisks you away.

Sleeping Beauty

A princess named Aurora spent her days in a fairytale forest with her true love, so it would only be fitting that her wedding take inspiration from her ethereal, earthy surroundings for more rustic, romantic nuptials. Wedding details would be full of greenery and florals, making the wedding whimsical with a woodsy setting. And of course, a coffee bar to keep this sleeping beauty awake for the late night partying!

Snow White

This princess would pay homage to the fall fruit that lead her to her betrothed, with an autumn harvest wedding full of warm reds and gold. A very simple, vintage gown with ruby-red lipstick, mirror décor, and bushels of apples to nibble on (without the poison)!

Belle

This little bookworm has a secret glamorous side and wants you to be her guest at her magnificent nuptials. She’s been pinning luxurious table settings with beautiful tea sets and enchanted rose floral centerpieces—between book chapters, of course. And where is she getting married? Only the library would be fitting for this princess!

Tiana

New Orleans is where this frog princess will be tying the knot. Tiana and her prince would head straight to the French Quarter and dance the night away to jazz tunes and bayou blues. And you can’t have a New Orleans bash without tons of delicious treats, such as beignets and hot sauce favors like the Louisiana sun!

Ariel

This little mermaid has found her sea legs and her true love, so now it’s time for her dream wedding. Where else would this former mermaid’s nuptials take place at but the seaside on the beach? This princess would be standing under a driftwood ceremony arch while guests wiggle their toes in the sand. She would have ocean-inspired details throughout this seaside soiree to please her saltwater friends. And we can’t forgot the engraved forks—but not to use in your hair!

Elsa

This new princess would have a winter wonderland-inspired wedding—and Elsa certainly won’t be letting this one go! This cold-weather bride is pinning up a snowstorm of winter details from glittery, gauzy gowns, to reindeer invitations, and a bridal-worthy spin on her trademark braid. As for that fresh snowfall backdrop for wedding portraits, we think she’s got that one covered.

Jasmine

This royal bride will be taking a magic carpet ride to rich, jewel-toned hues and gilded details. No fussy lace or tulle for this bold bride. She plans to marry her prince in an on-trend bridal jumpsuit, which is perfect for dancing the night away. Where else would her dream venue be but her own backyard, for romantic nuptials among the sand dunes and desert stars.
