I first saw this for one of my October’s weddings and loved this idea. It’s new and unique, which I think adds to the wow-factor for guests. The couple and their parents engrave a heart-shaped “Lovelock” padlock and, during the ceremony, lock it to the “Tree of Life.” This is one of the most unique ways of uniting families.

Mismatched China Creates Classy Vintage Look

To pull off the perfect vintage look, this past bride used mismatched china for her place settings, appetizers, and desserts. It was absolutely stunning! I walked around the room looking at all the different patterns, colors, etc.,—and of course, silently picking my favorites.

This bride rented the mismatched china, but others have found antique shops or thrift stores to be the best place to find this vintage look.

Winter Wonderland Wedding

We started our month with a winter wonderland-themed wedding, and the details left us in awe! Each table had alternating centerpieces. One style had glass globes that each contained different winter scenes. From a skating rink to a Christmas tree or ornaments to a lovely park scene, these centerpieces were cleverly created and didn’t disappoint! Once we added the light blue napkins and twinkly lights, the Lodge became a winter wonderland perfect for an ice princess.
