I couldn’t be more excited for a Sky Zone arena coming to Fredericksburg this summer. The inner gymnast/dancer in me is jumping with joy (literally)! Yes, I’ll be there with my nieces and nephew having a blast.
It also makes me proud as a “Stafford Indian” to have fellow alum Torrey Smith, NFL player for the Ravens and now 49ers, opening this gym for our local community. His love for physical fitness inspired him to make sure “people, kids and teens can have something to do that’s fun—so much fun they don’t realize they’re working out,” as he mentioned in the Free Lance Star article about the opening.
Sky Zone will be located at 1410 Central Park Blvd. With 20,000 square feet of trampolines, this arena will feature open jumping as well as trampoline basketball, dodge ball, and a trampoline-based aerobics class. Make sure to check out their website and Facebook page.
Sky Zone has been giving away free tickets to the grand opening. Although a date has not been set officially, I’m sure most fans are ready to for this new fitness-fun gym.
