I am originally from beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Being from a military family and growing up all over the east coast has given me the passion for traveling and exploring new places.
It still feels as though I can refer to myself as a recent graduate of The Art Institute of Washington, D.C.; however, that’s not the case. I graduated in 2015 with a degree in graphic and web design. I grew the most during my college experience by uprooting and moving to Pentagon City. I finished my degree back in what I now call my home town, historic downtown Fredericksburg.
Post-graduation, I interned at a design firm in downtown D.C that doubled as a wedding venue. Following my passion for creativity and the desire to explore new places, I took a job with award-winning wedding photographer Aaron Watson of Aaron Watson Photography in the beautiful city of Charlottesville. For the past two years, I lived and worked out of Charlottesville until the opportunity at Stevenson Ridge presented itself.
I fell in love with the wedding industry looking through the lens of a camera, and I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to work here at Stevenson Ridge!
A few random facts about me:
I am coffee’s biggest fan; anyway you make it, I’ll take it.
I enjoy cooking and have always been the baker in my family.
I grew up as a gymnast so working out has always been a part of my weekly routine. You can find me snowboarding on the mountains in the winter, water skiing on the lakes of Maine in the summer, and getting lost in yoga practice, where I find my zen.
I have always been sought out in any job I have had for my calligraphy and handwriting. I am able to put my skills to full use here by taking on the role as the designated sign artist—my self-given title!
