Travel article mentions Stevenson Ridge

Stevenson Ridge received a nice shout-out in the Pittsburgh Tribune this past weekend.

The newspaper’s “Road Trip!” column visited Fredericksburg. “Fredericksburg is historically tied to the Civil War and earlier,” wrote columnist Bob Karlovits, “but that storied past has been linked to its more active present.”

While outlining some of the area’s outstanding attractions, Karlovtis highlighted Stevenson Ridge. “While it’s not difficult to find a place to stay in the Fredericksburg area, the Inn at Stevenson Ridge provides an unusual choice,” he wrote, then adding a nice summary of the property’s history.

What I particularly appreciated about the column, though, was the wide net it cast. “For a relatively small town, Fredericksburg is an active place,” he wrote. Aside from the battlefields, he talked about Ferry Farm, trolley tours, the Grapes and Grains trail, and more. It was such a pleasure for Stevenson Ridge to be among such great company.
