Stevenson Ridge was recently highlighted in a wonderful feature that appeared on the website Virginia Wine in My Pocket: “Wine, War, and Where in the World is Stonewall’s Arm?” In case you couldn’t guess, wine and the Civil War are central themes!
You’ll note, on Day Three, they recommend hiring a guide to tour the Civil War battlefields. Not listed on that page, though: Stevenson Ridge offers a guide service for our guests. We have several historians available to offer tours of Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, the Wilderness, and Spotsylvania Court House (and they can even go as far afield as North Anna and Brandy Station).
