Fall has fast approached—so what better way to slow down and enjoy it than with an Autumn Sangria!

According to Evermine Occasions, you can add some apple cider to red wine for the perfect fall flavor. Don’t forget to add real fruit to your glass, and top it off with a cinnamon spice sugar along the rim.

Pinot Noir & Apple Cider
1 Bottle Pinot Noir
2 Cups Apple Cider
1 Chopped Apple
1 Chopped Pear
3 cinnamon Sticks

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate overnight or for several hours. The Autumn Sangria is great served over ice as well. For an additional taste add a cinnamon spiced rim sugar!

Cinnamon Spice Rim Sugar
1 Cup sugar
1-2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
A pinch of ground cloves or nutmeg (optional)

Mix the sugar and spices in a bowl with a fork. Then wet the rim of your glass with water and dip into the spiced sugar mixture.
