Rosemary

from Madeliza

Most of the girls in the office know my love for essential oils and all things natural. In one of our October weddings, we had a bride incorporate rosemary into her table-setting. As we were setting up, I could not help but be excited about not only how gorgeous it looked but all the unique things rosemary can be used for.

Rosemary is a fragrant evergreen herb native to the Mediterranean. It is used as a culinary condiment, to make bodily perfumes, and for its potential health benefits. The herb has been hailed since ancient times for its medicinal properties. Rosemary was traditionally used to help alleviate muscle pain, improve memory, boost the immune and circulatory system, and promote hair growth.

At home, I diffuse essential oils every day. I want to share a few of the benefits of diffusing rosemary essential oil in your home.

—Boosts Your Immune System: Inhaling rosemary essential oil can give the immune system a boost, stimulate antioxidants to fight free radicals, and decrease stress levels.

—Relive Cold and Flu Symptoms: Rosemary essential oil can work wonders to relieve the common symptoms that come with cold and flue, such as congestion, cough and stuffy sinuses.

—Reduces Stress Levels: Rosemary essential oils has been shown to reduce cortisol levels which is the main hormone that is released when the body responds to stress.

—Freshen the Air Naturally: Rosemary’s aroma is fresh and clean, making it perfect for clearing the air and removing foul odors. It’s a no chemical air freshener!

With so many benefits of rosemary it is definitely one of my favorite oils to diffuse at home!
