This summer has flown by with many weddings and events in the books! My last wedding, of what I officially call the final day of summer—August 31—was one that incorporated countless but well-thought-out details. I knew set-up would be something special to document.
When I started in the wedding industry, I worked in photography, and my only insight to all the glorious wedding details came through “final vision” in pictures. I saw beautiful details, from invitation suites and escort cards to floral décor that reached heights taller than myself, and place settings that were so detailed they deserved their very own pictures. When I became a wedding coordinator, I realized the seemingly effortless attractiveness of wedding décor came with much more than just beautiful pictures.
I wanted to show not only what I do on a wedding day but the village or vendors it takes and the team of hard working individuals I share it with.
Earlier this month, I shared a time-lapse video I created starting from roughly 10:00 a.m. all the way through when the bride walked down the aisle. The result was a 4-minute fast-forward video of quick walking busy bees, and a guest appearance by the bride’s very own parents lending a hand in the creation of the couple’s sweet heart table.
I am happy to have the memory forever of the creation of Peggy and Adam’s special day!
